Welcome to Hearts Healing Humanity, a beacon of hope and compassion across Canada. Founded by Tanner Bergsma in September 2023, Hearts Healing Humanity is a registered charity dedicated to addressing homelessness, alleviating poverty, and advocating for mental health.

Our mission is straightforward: to offer a helping hand to those confronting the harsh realities of poverty, homelessness, and mental health challenges. Through a comprehensive approach, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals throughout Canada.

Central to our work are our housing programs, which provide stable shelter and security for those facing homelessness and housing insecurity. However, our commitment extends beyond housing. Recognizing the interconnected nature of poverty and mental health, we also offer a variety of mental health programs. These range from counseling services to support groups, all designed to empower individuals on their journey to well-being by breaking down barriers and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.

Our proactive approach includes support for diverse vulnerable populations, such as seniors, individuals with disabilities and mental health issues, survivors of abuse, welfare-reliant single parents, shelter occupants, emergency motel guests, and those living well below the poverty line. We understand that each individual faces unique challenges, and we are dedicated to addressing them with empathy, dignity, and respect.
