The Helping Hands Fund Program offers beneficiaries the opportunity to receive support for their rent, with assistance of up to $4,000 at a time for first and last month’s rent providing that the funds are there and depending on each case. This financial aid can cover expenses such as first and last month’s rent, or provide temporary relief for those struggling to make ends meet by subsidizing a portion of their rent or utilities (no more than $400 per month per person) in order to help them get back on their feet. Our goal is to alleviate the burden of housing costs and help individuals regain stability in their lives. After 4-6 months, a needs analysis will be conducted. Availability on the housing list will also be considered before applications are approved.
